Tarot Inspired Plus Size Dressing: The Fool

I am often tarot inspired; it can be through my lifestyle, fashion, or spiritually. Whenever I realize it, I always smile. The Fool card is an especially fun inspirational tool.

The Fool card inspires us to live in the moment, trust our intuition and discover ourselves in new ways. I love to shop for splurge purchases with this free and spontaneous energy. When I do, I find the most whimsical and, over time, some of the most cherished of purchases.

Tarot Inspired Burgundy Boots

A couple of years ago I found some suede knee high boots that I just fell in love with. I did feel a little foolish buying the boots in a burgundy color. But, what the heck and I have ended up wearing quite often in the colder months.

Why would I say these boots are tarot inspired? I say that because I allowed myself to step outside of traditional, “Your too old,” or “your plus size why bring attention to yourself?” thinking.

I wore these boots today to run some errands with my son Wes. I did get compliments. It’s nice to meet kindred spirits while am I out and about.

What about you?

What are some fun purchases you’ve made that have become cherished over time?
