Boho Chic Plus Size as a Style Inspiration

Boho chic plus size as a style inspiration has been interesting to me for a while. As a result, I have slowly been tailoring my wardrobe in this direction. For instance, I think that the many different styles; classic, street, artsy, Victorian, boho, etc., can all coexist and mingle among each other.

For now, the place to start is at the beginning. In this case, it is January 1, 2021. The infamous year 2020 has gone away and the things we have been forced to learn, endure, become accustomed to, are now a cake walk. Not really, but we are trying as best we can.

I Wear a Plus Size in Clothing

I have made many decisions that are different than what I have done in the past. One of them is this year I will announce myself like they do in movies where in olden times wealthy people show up at an event and their names are announced to the attendees. Going forward, my style will announce me like that. I will be announced as:

  • Confidently Plus Size
  • Boho Chic
  • Over 40

Really, my style (or lack of it) already did announce me. I just never took the narrative into my own hands, in the way, I have decided to do now. It is not that I did not care who I presented myself to the world. I just never studied the skill of style.

“What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language.”

Boho Chic Plus Size Styling Has Arrived

Nothing under the sun is new. I feel that what has been done before can be done again. Being able to pull from all past fashion trends and mix it uniquely together is thrilling.

Women have recently had more space to be their own creation. Boho chic plus size is all about taking what is available and making it your own.. There is no such thing as out of fashion or not chic.

It is all about what works for you

Shirts, pants, skirts, shoes, coats, jackets and all the other things that go into making an outfit will be my announcers. I have given them permission to do so because I have chosen them very carefully. We are coordinated in our joint effort.

Oh course, inspiration helps a lot. I have decided to use archetypes for my inspiration. I am excited to see how my styling efforts unfold this year.
